Authorities in Moore County said two people were sent the hospital following an accident involving multiple vehicles on U.S. 15-501 Thursday morning.

A vehicle was traveling north on 15-501 towards Sanford around 8:45 a.m. when it sideswiped a dump truck and then hit an 18-wheeler bulk collar truck, authorities said.
