What's it like to live in a 364-square-foot home?
FOX 12 went inside the rental cottages on North Michigan Street in Portland, where each cottage has a kitchen, a reading nook, a separate bedroom, a washer and a dryer.

Contractor Brad Bloom and his partner used recycled materials everywhere they could when they built the cottages.
"They're actually smaller than a lot of people's closets up in the West Hills," Bloom said.
Vaulted ceilings make the tiny space feel bigger than it is - and provide some extra storage.
The cottage even has a cottage-size backyard.
Bloom has just broken ground on another cottage in southeast Portland, and two more are planned for Portland back yards.
