CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -

A Chandler man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the face after an argument and shooting at a 7-Eleven store Wednesday night.

Kenneth Morrow, 39, and a 34-year-old man from Chandler were in the store near Warner and Dobson roads about 9:30 p.m. when they began arguing, a Chandler police representative said.

The argument turned physical and both men pulled firearms and pointed them at each other, and Morrow was shot once, the representative said.

The wounded man, who was in the store with his teenage son, was rushed to a hospital but was expected to survive.

The shooter left the store but turned himself in shortly after, the representative said. He was not in custody but was cooperating in the investigation, the representative said.

A clerk was in the store at the time, and police said they were reviewing in-store video and talking to other witnesses.

No other information was immediately available.
