RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

A Richmond man's watercolors of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics are catching the eyes of some of the athletes.

Greig Leach began painting watercolors of events during the London 2012 Summer Olympics and offering them for sale on Facebook. He continued the project with the recent Sochi games and even got some feedback from the Olympians.

"I am excited to have these amazing athletes aware of the art I am doing based on their heroic exploits," Leach says. "To be able to provide them with some of the joy that I have had watching them is a true honor."

Now that the games are complete Leach is turning his attention back to cycling, which is his favorite sport. He paints pictures of the sport on his Art of Cycling blog.
