SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Police have made an arrest clearing up to 12 different burglary cases.

Tylor Toney, 20, was arrested and charged with simple burglary.  More charges could be added later.

Thousands of dollars worth of stolen items were recovered from his home, police said.  Investigators believe the merchandise was stolen in a string of burglaries that happened over several weeks.

Some items have been returned to their owners but police are expecting more victims to come forward to claim the remaining property.

"As far as individual cases, this could represent up to a dozen.  For each one of these items could represent a single victim but we simply don't know that", said Corporal Marcus Hines, Shreveport Police.

If you have been the victim of a recent burglary and believe one of these items could be yours, call Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
