Detectives nab suspect in burglaries, 2 others wanted

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office says a Bossier City man has been arrested in connection with a burglary several weeks ago in Shreveport, and has been linked to recent burglaries in Bossier City as well.

38-year-old Roger A. Burgdorf was arrested Thursday Bossier sheriff's detectives searched his home in the 2800 block of Patricia Dr. and found numerous stolen items, including a Rolex watch, handgun, collectable baseball cards and sports memorabilia and the victim's birth certificate and personal effects.

The search warrant was executed after Shreveport police developed information that linked his address to a burglary of a Shreveport home on New Year's Day.

Investigators say they also found stolen items in his home that were taken from Bossier City business and vehicle burglaries, along with methampehtamine, marijuana and "an assortment of controlled prescriptions narcotics."

Burgdorf was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of firearms with narcotics, illegal possession of stolen things, illegal possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility for booking.
 
Burgdorf's roommates, Emily Amanda Thrash, 27, and John "JT" Thomson III, 37, were not at the residence during the search and are now wanted for felony illegal possession of stolen things, two counts of possession of Schedule IV, two counts of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of marijuana.
