Summit County teen charged with arson

GREEN, OH (WOIO) -

On Thursday, February 20, the Green Fire Department responded to a fire at a multi-family home at 1952 Koons Road in Green around 7 p.m.

The fire started outside in the garage. Firefighters put out the blaze quickly and the damage was contained to one of the units. 

Fire investigators determined that the fire was deliberately set and that an accelerant was use to start and fuel the blaze. 

A 16-year-old male was found near the residence. He was arrested and charged with Aggravated Arson and taken to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
