WOOD COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Wood County authorities are searching for an elderly man who went missing earlier this week.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday that 77-year-old Robert Searer was reported missing at 11 a.m. Tuesday. According to Wood County Sheriff's officials, Mr. Searer has early-onset Alzheimer's disease. 

Searer was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and brown khaki pants. He is 5'9" tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He has gray hair and wears glasses.

Searer is believed to be driving a gray 1998 Dodge pick-up with Texas license plate number BN4-5243.  He was last seen in the Hawkins area, according to the Wood County Sheriff's office.

Anyone with information regarding Searer or his vehicle's whereabouts is asked to contact the Wood County Sheriff's Office at 903-763-2201.
