LSUS Pilots move up in basketball rankings

The LSU Shreveport Pilots made a jump in the recent release of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Pilots improve from last week's release of no. 18 to this week's no. 13 following a perfect 2-0 week last week.

The Pilots look to improve on their resume and impress voters even more with three home games coming up within the next week. The Pilots will host Langston on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and then welcome Bacone on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.

Next week the Pilots will have a highly anticipated rematch with now no. 20 Wiley College, a team the Pilots defeated earlier in the year when they were ranked 12th. The tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night (Feb. 25) at The Dock.
