Your Voice, Your Vote: Early voting information

(KLTV) - East Texans will head to the polls on Tuesday as early voting begins across the state.

Early voting begins Tuesday for the Texas Democratic and Republican primaries on March 4. Secretary of State Nandita Berry says voters can cast ballots early through Feb. 28. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is Friday.

Remember, when you head to the polls, you must have your photo identification with you to cast a ballot.

Important Dates:
- February 18: Early voting begins
- February 28: Early voting ends
- March 4: March Primary Election
- November 4: General Election
