BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bossier City police are now calling the deaths of a man and a woman found in their Glassell subdivision home late Thursday night a murder-suicide.

Officers were called around 10:15 p.m. to a home in the 2400 block of Tulip Street after family members found the 2 unresponsive inside.

Investigators say they had both been shot.

Based on information and evidence at the scene, detectives with the BCPD Violent Crimes unit say it appears the man shot the woman and then shot himself. Bossier City spokesperson Mark Natale says a firearm was found at the scene.

The names of the 2 have not yet been released, pending notification of family.
