LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - A 30-year-old Longview man has been missing since Saturday and his family is hoping East Texans can help locate him.

Gaylon Bradley was last seen at his grandmother's house in Longview. He left his grandmother's house Saturday on foot and did not return. No one has seen Bradley or heard from him since then. He is blind and also suffers from mental illness. His family is worried something bad has happened because of his trusting nature.

"My son has been missing, today makes the sixth day. I've checked the jail, the hospital, everywhere," says Gaylon's mother Phylles Johnson.

Bradley was last seen wearing a black leather coat, blue jeans and a t-shirt.

"It's not like him. It's not like him, even without a cell phone he knows my number. It's pretty scary," says Gaylon's aunt Deborah Reliford.

In 2010, Bradley's cousin, Sgyunda Williams, was missing for three days before her body was found wrapped in a blanket near the Sabine River. They hope this will not be another tragedy for their family.

Bradley's mother told KLTV she is especially worried considering the freezing weather we have had this week. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact the Longview Police Department at 903-237-1199.
