A traffic stop ended with a Kilgore woman behind bars for possession of methamphetamine on Sunday.
Kilgore police stopped 47-year-old Kimberly Kay Hasson. After arresting Hasson for having an expire license and driving without insurance, police say Hasson informed the arresting officer that she had a syringe in her waistband. Officers searched her vehicle and found 56 grams of methamphetamine in a plastic bag.
Hasson was charged with possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor traffic charges, then booked into the Kilgore Municipal Jail.
