NATCHITOCHES PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested the 6th and last suspect in connection with a staged home invasion and armed robbery.

The incident happened at a home in the 200 block of Cedar Grove Drive, just south of Natchitoches.

For the last week, deputies had been interviewing people and following up on leads to help identify the final suspect, Sheriff Victor Jones Jr. said.

Investigators were able to identify Jermaine Michael LaCour, 19, of the 100 block of Beverly Rise, Natchitoches, as a suspect.

NPSO deputies searched several locations in the Natchitoches area Saturday night but were unable to locate LaCour.

After featuring LaCour's picture on local media, LaCour turned himself in Sunday around 12:00 p.m.

LaCour was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center and charged with 2 counts each of armed robbery, armed robbery with a gun and aggravated second degree battery.  He was also charged with 1 count of criminal conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

He is awaiting a bond hearing.

Five other suspects were also arrested in connection with this investigation.
