Texarkana, TX police seek armed robbery suspects

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -

Texarkana Texas police are investigating an overnight robbery of a local convenience store.

Police say it happened around 3:07 a.m. Friday morning at a convenience store in the 5100 block of Summerhill Rd. 2 men reportedly entered the store and made a small cash transaction, before pulling out what is described as a black semi-automatic pistol and ordering the clerk to open the cash register.

After both men pulled money from the register drawer, one of them came behind the counter and took several packages of cigarettes and lighters.  Both then fled the store on foot.

Police released the following descriptions: The first suspect was wearing a black hoodie jacket and is described as a 25-30 year old black male who is 5-08 and 200 pounds.  The second is a black male believed to be in his early 30's who is 5-09 and 180 pounds.  He was wearing a black toboggan and what appeared to be a brown leather jacket with some type of a patch in the middle of the back.
