Classes canceled at Huntington H.S. due to water main break

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

All classes at Huntington High School have been canceled after a water main break Tuesday morning.

Caddo Parish School Board spokesperson Victor Mainiero says a water main break is on the school's campus. Mainiero says it is expected to take all day to complete the repair.

CPSB Superintendent Dr. Theodis Goree made the decision to cancel classes for the day.

Mainiero says Huntington High School Principal Travis Smith used the JCALL System to send alerts to parents of the release time.

Buses returned to campus to take bus riders home.
