SPD: Street lights knocked out after hit and run

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport police are looking for someone involved in a hit and run that knocked out two street lights Friday morning.

Police say it happened just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Wilkinson Street. Police say they believe a car failed to turn completely and hit the utility pole holding the lights. Two street lights broke off the pole. Utility crews quickly got to work to fix the lights.

Police say they believe they know who is responsible but have not made an arrest. The intersection is still open.
