Friday, July 21

A boil advisory is in effect for customers in the following areas of North DeSoto Water System in Stonewall, Louisiana due to a water main break on Rambin Road Friday morning: Rambin Rd. going west to the 1000 block, Burford rd, Brian David, Middleton Rd, Old Hickory Subdivision (Ramsey) and Performance Loop.
If you are not listed but lost pressure, the water system advises customers be safe and boil water before consumption.

Thursday, July 20

The Springlake Mobile Home Park Water System in Blanchard has issued a boil advisory due to water having to be shut off from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to conserve water resources.

Wednesday, July 19

A boil advisory has been issued for some members of the Village Water System in the Princeton and Haughton area. The advisory area includes all of Ward Lane, from Ward Lane on the north side of Highway 80 to Highway 157 and Fillmore Cemetery Road.

The water will be turned off due to an emergency repair on the main line.  The order will remain in effect until further notice.

TIPS FOR BOILING WATER

It is recommended that all consumers disinfect their water before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth or using it for food preparation or rinsing of foods by the following means:

Boil water for one (1) full minute in a clean container. The minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil. (The flat taste can be eliminated by shaking the water in a clean bottle, pouring it from one clean container to another or by adding a pinch of salt to each quart of water that is boiled).
