BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

The eastbound inside lane of I-20 at Barksdale Boulevard is back open after a trailer carrying a large plastic container overturned Thursday morning.

The container, which is about 12 feet in height and about 8 feet wide, was empty.

According to Bossier City spokesperson Mark Natale, it was being pulled by a pickup truck when, according to the driver, the trailer began shaking causing it to turn over and become detached from the truck.

Both the container and trailer have since been removed from the road and traffic is flowing once again. The driver of the pickup truck was issued a ticket for having an unsecured load.
