The 2200 block of Shed Road in Bossier City has reopened, after a water main break shut it down to through-traffic Tuesday afternoon.
According to Bossier City spokesperson Mark Natale, the line was broken at approximately 11:30 am today by a private contractor that was relocating a natural gas line near the intersection of Shed Road and Leslie Street.
The road was expected to be closed for at least the next 24 hours while repairs were made, but word came just before 8 p.m. that the repairs had been completed.
