A Hope, AR man has been arrested in connection with the shooting that injured 3 people outside a local convenience store early Thursday morning.
Police say 27-year-old Keith D. Moses opened fire into a crowd outside the Triple J Shell in the 2600 block of North Hervey St. around 3 a.m.
Officers learned when they arrived that there had been a large crowd of people outside the store and gun shots had been fired. Officers also learned that three people had been taken to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope by personal vehicle and that all three appeared to have gunshot wounds.
Injured in the incident were Summerrial Threadgill, 20, of Magnolia, Bridgett Currey, 24, of Magnolia, and Roderick Purifoy, 28, of Bluff City, Arkansas. There is no update on their conditions.
Moses is charged with three counts of Battery 1st degree, Possession of Firearms by certain persons, four counts of Aggravated assault, and Criminal Mischief 1st degree. He is in the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first appearance.
