CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

At least one person was seriously injured in a wreck involving a car, a tractor and a pickup truck on Wednesday afternoon in south Caddo Parish.

The Caddo Sheriff's Office and Caddo Fire District 4 were called to the wreck in the 5800 block of Colquitt Road south of Haywood Drive just before 1:30 p.m., where they say the driver of a northbound 2009 Scion TC struck a northbound Ford New Holland tractor with a bushhog mower attachment.

According to CSO Cpl. Gary Pace, the Scion then spun around and hit a southbound F-250  pulling a utility trailer.  The Scion was heavily damaged, and the driver had to be cut from the vehicle before being flown to University Health in Shreveport with what are described as life-threatening injuries.

The drivers of the pickup and tractor were also taken to University Health for treatment of injuries. Their names have not been released until their families can be contacted.

The accident remains under investigation
