SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Police investigators have released surveillance video in hopes of generating leads that will lead them to a suspect in 2 separate thefts from local convenience stores.

Police say the first started just before 11 p.m. on October 24, when the suspect entered the Circle K store at Fairfield and Jordan and hid until the cashier closed up and left for the night. After the store was closed, the suspect began taking cases of beer and a black trash bag filled with boxes of cigarettes out of the front door.

Then on November 4, police believe the same man entered the Circle K at 1920 Line Avenue at around 4:00 p.m., wearing a dark colored jacket and a baseball cap. He lingered around the beer area for several minutes and took two suit cases of beer before walking out of the store with the clerk following him. As the clerk gained on the suspect, he throws the beer at the clerks head from a short distance missing the clerk.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $400.00 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible in both of these crimes.
