CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

The two men injured in a shooting in west Shreveport last week have now been arrested.

Deputies were called to a convenience store at West 70th Street and Buncombe Road on November 26, and found 26-year-old Ricky Blomgreen, of the 3000 block of Asbury Lane, with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. Blomgreen was taken to University Health for treatment for his injuries.

Deputies say 26-year-old Vincent Efferson, of the 5400 block of Chuck A. Drive, was also shot, suffering a gunshot wound to his knee. He went by private vehicle to Willis-Knighton for his injury.

Investigators believe the shooting happened at Blomgreen's home Asbury Lane, and have since determined that Blomgreen was allegedly selling drugs from his home when he was robbed of nearly two pounds of marijuana and shot several times. During the investigation, Vincent Efferson was identified as one of the men who robbed Blomgreen. There were two additional men involved in the shooting that have not yet been identified.

Detectives got a search warrant for Blomgreen's home. During that search, they say they found 56 grams of marijuana and a firearm. Blomgreen was arrested for manufacturing and distribution of schedule I and illegal carrying of a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance.

Detective Laney also got an arrest warrant for Vincent Efferson, charging him with attempted first degree murder.

Efferson was arrested at his home Thursday evening and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center. His bond was set at $300,000.

Caddo Sheriff's detectives are continuing to investigate the case.
