COLLEGE STATION, TX (RNN) - Texas A&M snapped a two-game losing streak after they easily defeated in-state rival Houston 74-57 on Wednesday.

The Aggies (7-2) dominated the Cougars (6-3) in shooting, making half of their 58 field goals attempts, 10 of their 23 3-pointers and all six of their free throws.

Jamal Jones led Texas A&M with 21 points and seven rebounds. All of his points came from 3-pointers.

This was the Aggies' first home game following the Corpus Christi Classic, where Texas A&M lost both of its games to Missouri State and Southern Methodist.

Texas A&M gets 10 days off before hosting McNeese State on Saturday, Dec. 14.
