BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

Police have released a photograph of a missing Bossier Parish woman and her husband, as well as a description of his truck.

46-year-old Ann Bond didn't show up for work this morning. That prompted enough concern that a deputy was called to conduct a welfare check at her home in the 1000 block of Wemple Road. The deputy did not find her, but did find her car in the garage and what appeared to be droplets of blood in the driveway.

Crime scene investigators were called in and a K9 unit searched the area. Lt. Davis says deputies have found nothing obviously out of place inside the house during a quick sweep conducted before police could get a search warrant to conduct a more thorough search of the home. While there are no obvious signs of a struggle inside the home, Lt. Davis says an area on the back patio could indicate there was some sort of disturbance.

Ann and Robert Bond are both listed as residents at the address, but police say Robert Bond does not currently live in the home. Lt. Davis says a detective did make contact early Thursday with Robert Bond, who indicated he would come in to help in the search.

While Robert Bond could provide potentially crucial insight into the disappearance of his estranged wife, police say he never arrived to join the friends and family that gathered at the home in the hours following his wife's disappearance.

Police have now released a description of Robert Bond's truck, a white 2005 Chevrolet 2500 4-door truck with black running rails. The front bumper and black toolbox in the bed are dented. Police are not describing Robert bond as a suspect, but they do say they are anxious to speak with him again.

Investigators are now waiting for a search warrant that will allow them to search the home more thoroughly for clues that could lead to the whereabouts of Ann Bond and what may have happened to her.

Lt. Bill Davis says they are treating the situation at this point as a missing person's case.

Anyone with information on where Ann or Robert Bond might be, or who sees a truck matching this description is asked to contact the Bossier Sheriff's Office at 318-965-2203.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
