MARSHALL, TX (KSLA) -

Typhoon Haiyan is touching people here in the ArkLaTex, including a Marshall Woman who says she is still waiting to hear from her brother, possibly among those lost after the devastating storm.

"So far we have not heard from my eldest brother so we are all worried about him," says Mary-Ann Dang. Dang is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where a candlelight rosary was held for the storm victims on Wednesday.

Thousands are believed to be lost, and many more are left injured and displaced. "It breaks my heart to see all those pictures," says Dang.

Dang says the images shown on T.V. are a constant reminder of her family's pain. She says her family is waiting to hear from him, but in the meantime she is clinging on to her faith. "Prayers, not just for my family but for everybody."

There are an estimated 600,000 people displaced or missing.
