SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Police investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who broke into an outdoor food storage container in the South Highland neighborhood.

It happened shortly after midnight at a business in the 4000 block of Fern Avenue on Wednesday, November 7. Surveillance video shows a man approach and enter the refrigerated storage container behind Marilynn's Place restaurant.

Once inside, police say the man helped himself to a large amount of processed meat.

Police say the man carried his haul off in small pickup truck only, to return about 4 hours later and steal another large quantity of meat valued at over $700.00.
