BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Parkway High School will still not be allowed to host a playoff game, after the Louisiana High School Athletics Association shot down an appeal by the Panthers Wednesday.

The penalty was handed down by the LHSAA after a September 2012 incident before a home football playoff game at Parkway, in which the head coach of the vi sting team was escorted from the field in handcuffs at the request of Parkway principal Nichole Bourgeois after refusing to remove his team from the field during pre-game warm ups.

Bourgeois later said she had Barry "Tut" Musemeche removed for not sticking to what she said was Parkway's pre-game itinerary.

The Louisiana High School Athletic Association punished Parkway by taking away the team's ability to host a home playoff game. On Wednesday, they upheld that ruling, by a vote of 11-3 with one abstention and the president not voting.

Panthers head coach David Feaster tells KSLA News 12 Sports that being on the road will put the 8-0 team at a disadvantage. It wouldn't be such a big deal if the team had a 3-7 record, Feaster says, but since they are having such a historic season, the penalty could really hurt them.

The playoff pairings will be released Sunday, and the first rounds  begin Friday, Nov. 15.
