NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A man was killed after a one-vehicle rollover accident on US 59, a tenth of a mile north of County Road 264 in Nacogdoches County around 8:22 PM. 

According to the Department of Public Safety, Robert Earl Davis, 57, of Nacogdoches was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram southbound on 59 when his vehicle left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.

Davis was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced at the scene around 8:30 PM by Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2 Judge Dorothy Tigner-Thompson.

His next of kin has been notified.
