Pilots ranked No. 2 in NAIA preseason poll

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics unveiled the preseason NAIA Top 25 polls on Tuesday afternoon.  The LSU Shreveport Pilots come in at no. 2 in the country to begin the season to add along with their Sporting News and Red River Athletic Conference no. 1 preseason rankings.

The Pilots will begin the 2013-14 season in the Small College Tip-Off Classic in Humble, Texas, this Friday night against St. Gregory's University.  They will return home to play for the first time this season at The Dock the very next night.  Their home opener will be against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and they will tip-off at 7:30 p.m.  There will be more basketball action on Saturday before the Pilots take the floor.  Our new ABA Professional Basketball team (Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks) will play host to Dallas Diesel in an exhibition contest at 5:00 p.m. This will be a great double-header of basketball this Saturday night at The Dock.

Fans can purchase a two-game ticket for $10 at the door.  Your ticket allows you to see both exciting games and will be the community's first opportunity to see the Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks and the LSU Shreveport Pilots in action.
