Sign appears following medical records complaints

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Medical records thought to be unavailable after an Ark-La-Tex pediatrician's death, are now available.

That's according to a new sign that has suddenly appeared in the window of Dr. Linda Harris' office on North Market. The new piece of information was posted following a story KSLA News 12 aired about a frustrated parent who claims the exhaustive search for her kid's records proved fruitless.

Dr. Harris practiced pediatrics at an office on North Market before passing away over the summer.

The sign indicates that former patients should call 870-571-8744 in order to get patient's records. The sign is a welcome site for several patients - who contacted us complaining that the records were unavailable.
