NPSO seeks public's help in search for missing woman

NATCHITOCHES PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Detectives are asking for public's assistance in locating a missing person reported to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office.

Family members contacted the NPSO requesting assistance in finding 52-year-old Lori J. Smith, who was reportedly last seen on October 27 driving a 2002 Ford Mustang with Louisiana tag #KYR589.

Authorities say Smith is on medication and may be experiencing severe depression or psychotic behavior.

According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's office, Smith may possibly be on her way to the Little Rock, Arkansas area.

An All Points Bulletin has been issued to law enforcement agencies.

Smith is described as a white female, weighing approximately 125 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. 

Detectives ask that if you see Smith, to contact the nearest law enforcement agency, the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office at 318.352.6432 or Detective Carey Etheridge at 318.357.7832.
