STAMFORD, CT (CNN) – Newly released 911 call show the woman who was shot and killed by Capitol Police earlier this month may have been emotionally unstable.
Miriam Carey tried to drive through a barrier at the White House before leading police on a chase through Washington, DC.
Now, a 911 call her boyfriend made in November 2012 has been released, and may show signs of mental distress.
"Miriam, she's outside now with the baby without any coat or anything and she's just like physically, and I definitely need to take her somewhere to get some help," the man said on the phone call.
Carey's sisters say she suffered from postpartum psychosis.
