(CNN) – The last patient from the deadly Asiana Airlines crash in San Francisco was released Wednesday.
She was transferred to a Bay area rehabilitation facility.
The crash survivor spent 15 weeks in the hospital after suffering a spinal cord injury, road burns and intestinal injuries. She underwent 30 surgeries during her stay.
San Francisco General Hospital’s chief of surgery said the crash victim was one of the sickest patients she’s ever cared for. But the doctor says the woman was smiling when she left.
She was one of the more than 180 people hurt when Asiana Flight 214 crashed short of the runway in July.
Two people were killed in the crash. A third person survived the crash, but died after being run over by an emergency vehicle at the scene.
