Bold theft of trailer from Bossier City business caught on camera

Owners of an Ark-la-Tex mobile home company are angry, after a thief drove off with $8,000.00 dollars worth of property.  Cameras were rolling as this truck pulled up to Brewer Quality Homes and in just minutes got away with a travel trailer.
Brewer says they faced a similar situation back in February, "We noticed we had more titles in a box than travel trailers on the yard, so we knew some of them were missing." That's when the company decided to purchase a surveillance system and this time around, the system proved useful in revealing exactly how and when the trailer disappeared.

In the video, you can see what looks like a black truck showing up at the business Saturday morning. The truck drives straight toward, what Brewer explained is their nicest travel trailer. Then about six minutes later, you can see the same truck driving away with the trailer in tow. "He just hitched right up to it and pulled out," said Brewer.

"He was able to back up to it himself without anybody helping, it was dark outside," Brewer believes the video shows it looks like the thief knew exactly what they were doing, but doubts he knew cameras were recording their every move.

Brewer wants the public to take a good look at this truck and help identify the driver for police. In the meantime, he has a message for the criminal ."You're lucky I didn't catch you, because you'd be deader than a fried chicken," said Brewer.

Bossier City Spokesman Mark Natale confirms a report has been written up about the theft and assigned to a property crimes unit detective.
