Arrest made in Shreveport park shooting

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A man wanted in connection with a shooting at a Shreveport park has turned himself in to authorities.

Lloyd Ivory, 18, surrenred to Shreveport Police late Friday night.  

Ivory was charged with one count of aggravated battery in connection with a shooting October 13 at Southern Hills Metro Park.

Officers responded to a reported shooting at the park.  Jamarisai Wade, 18, of Shreveport, was shot once in the leg.  He was taken to University Health for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.

Ivory, of the 3800 block of Doris Avenue in Shreveport, was booked into the Shreveport city jail late Friday night.
