SPD: One man dead after shooting at Raceway gas station

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police are searching for a gunman after a deadly shooting at a gas station in the Ingleside neighborhood Saturday morning.

Shreveport police say just before 1:30 a.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting after a man arrived at University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Police say the victim, 28-year-old Jonathon Davis, reportedly drove himself to the hospital after he was shot at a Raceway gas station in the 3700 block of Hearne Avenue. Davis died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Police say after an initial investigation, they believe Davis was sitting in his car at the gas station when several shots were fired.

Right now, police do not have a suspect in this shooting.
