(TOYOTA/CNN) – A California jury finds Toyota was not responsible for a deadly crash in 2009 that was caused by sudden acceleration.
Noriko Uno was killed when her 2008 Toyota Camry suddenly sped up to more than 100 mph and crashed into a telephone pole.
The L.A. Superior Court jury deliberated more than four days before returning the verdict.
Toyota is facing a large number of lawsuits in state and federal courts over claims of unintended acceleration in their vehicles.
The automaker maintained throughout the trial there was no defect in the car.
