CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A Loomis Armored Transport employee was arrested on Monday for allegedly stealing money from a business on her route.

Caddo Parish deputies were called after a money drop at Loomis came up short. After an investigation, deputies determined 27-year-old Lakeisha Davis took the money.

Deputies say Davis allegedly stole $5,261 from a Loomis bag before dropping it off at the business. Davis was arrested and charged with felony theft.

Deputies say the money was found at the time of her arrest.
