Former Agriculture Commissioner Gil Dozier dies

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Former Louisiana Agriculture Commissioner Gil Dozier died Monday of complications from a stroke and congestive heart failure.

The former commissioner served nearly four years in prison for felony convictions of felony corruption.

He had been living in Baton Rouge and St. Francisville.

In his later years, he enjoyed keeping up with his 15 grandchildren.
