RUSTON, LA (KSLA/Louisiana Tech Sports Information) -

Officials from Fox Sports and the Big 12 Conference announced Monday that Louisiana Tech's Sept. 21 football game at Kansas will be nationally televised by Fox Sports 1 and will kickoff at 11 a.m. CT.

The FS1 broadcast will mark the second time Louisiana Tech will appear on Fox's new national sports network. The Bulldogs will be the featured Thursday game of the week this week as LA Tech hosts Tulane in the program's first Conference USA game. The Sept. 21 broadcast will mark the Jayhawks' first appearance on the network.

LA Tech is facing Kansas for just the fourth time in program history and trails the all-time series, 2-1. KU won the last meeting, 29-0, in Lawrence on Sept. 6, 2008 in the last meeting between the two schools.

Additionally, Fox Sports announced that Louisiana Tech's Sept. 28 game against Army will kickoff at 3 p.m. CT. While the game will be broadcast on one of the Fox networks, the official announcement on which network is expected to come sometime next week. That game will be played in Dallas at the historic Cotton Bowl Stadium.
