SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport firefighters made quick work of a house fire Saturday evening.

They were called to a home in the 2000 block of Looney around 7:20 p.m.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and saw smoke coming from the front of the home.  Emergency crews were able to douse the flames in less than 10 minutes.

Nobody was home at the time of the fire.  

Exactly what caused the small fire is not yet known.
