Saturday Peltier Subaru in Tyler celebrated their grand opening with a dog wash-a-thon.
The dealership partnered with Pets Fur People for the event, where people could have their dogs washed for free. For every dog that was washed, Peltier donated twenty five dollars to Pets Fur People.
Peltier Subaru Marketing Director Jeremy Alden says, "We have a lot of customers that have dogs and like to bring their dogs with them, and so we thought it'd be great to have our grand opening and make it about out dogs all around East Texas."
Executive Director for Pets Fur People Gale Helms says, "It's been a great time and for Peltier Subaru to want to partner with us, it just is great. They're giving back to the community and helping a non-profit like we are."
One hundred and sixty six dogs were washed today and Peltier donated 4,150 dollars to Pets Fur People.
