DENVER (FOX19) - The Rockies beat up Reds starter Mike Leake and took two of a three game series at Coors Field.
Leake left in the 5th inning after giving up 6 earned runs. Shin-Shoo Choo homered and had three hits, Chris Heisey had four hits, but the Reds stranded 11 base runners and only scored 4 runs despite 15 hits.
The Reds fall 3.5 games out of first place in the NL Central and start a crucial 4-game series with the Cardinal starting Monday at Great American Ball Park.
Rockies first baseman Todd Helton became the 96th player in major league history to reach 2,500 hits with a double in Sunday's game.
