Police: Two men suffer from severe injuries after Hamilton shooting

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

Hamilton Police are investigating after a double shooting left one with life-threatening injuries and another with serious injuries.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Chestnut Street just before 4:00 a.m. on Sunday after receiving reports of two people shot.

Upon arrival, police found one male lying face down on the sidewalk and one lying next to the curb. Officers say both were suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victims have been identified as 24-year-old Toriano Ross and 26-year-old Eric Ross.

Both victims were transported by air to the hospital. Police say one victim is in critical condition while the second is in serious, but stable condition. 

The incident is currently under investigation. No suspect names or descriptions have been released.
