More than a dozen arrested in drug bust operation

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

More than a dozen people are behind bars after Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics agents conducted a drug bust operation.

Officials say they executed a search warrant for a home in the 3000 block of Jackson Street on August 22nd. As a result, 24-year-old GeColby Glasper was arrested for allegedly possessing cocaine and suspected marijuana. Glasper was charged with possession of drugs and intent to distribute.

This led to further investigation by narcotics agents who discovered the home was a high drug trafficking location. Agents say they searched the home for a second time and found 3.6 grams of cocaine and $168.00 in cash.

Twelve more people were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and booked into the Shreveport City Jail:

  • 57-year-old James Gracely
  • 53-year-old Antionette Gilyard
  • 59-year-old Earnestine Metcalf
  • 43-year-old Nathaniel Barrett
  • 41-year-old Franchesca Eugene
  • 52-year-old Albertus Conner
  • 43-year-old Jaque Lynn
  • 68-year-old Willie Scott
  • 39-year-old Aaron Kirkendoll
  • 58-year-old Jocelyn Montgomery
  • 59-year-old Brenden Raben
  • 49-year-old Diane Williams

Despite a sentence of 40 years to life, the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency voted to release him from prison into home arrest. Family members of the victims are concerned for the safety of the community, as are new members of the Clemency Board. CBS 5 Investigates videotaped Huff riding a bike through his Tucson neighborhood. There are no restrictions placed on his proximity to children.
