SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A man was charged after he walked out of a store with a Cookie Monster bracelet and was later found with pills, according to Spartanburg police.

Police said when they arrived at Spencer's Gifts, Stanley Mossburg, 29 was in the custody of mall security.

After looking at a security recording, officers determined that Mossburg took a Cookie Monster bracelet and then exited the store without paying for it, they said.

When officers searched Mossburg, they said they found a unmarked green bottle containing 22 loritabs and 21 Xanax.

Mossburg was charged with shoplifting and two drug charges, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
