Community remembers victims of deadly bank hostage standoff

ST. JOSEPH, LA (WAFB) -

An entire community is preparing to say goodbye to two people killed in a bank hostage standoff in north Louisiana.

According to KNOE, the Tensas Parish area remains in shock over the deaths of Jay Warbington and LaDean McDaniel.

A memorial ceremony is scheduled for Warbington at Kendrick's Ferry Pentecostal Church in Wisner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. His funeral is set for Saturday at 2 p.m.

Funeral arrangements for McDaniel have been tentatively set for Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou in Ferriday.
