TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) - Texarkana, Texas has taken the top prize in the national "Bark for Your Park" contest.
Contest Sponsor PetSafe will pony up $100,000 toward the completion of a dog park in the city, which organizers say will be located at Spring Lake Park and named after Kylee Sullivan, a 7-year-old Texarkana girl who was killed three years ago in the flooding at the Albert Pike campground.
Texarkana, TX collected the most online votes of the 15 finalist cities all over the country, with 144,706.
Conway, AR was runner up among the large cities in the final 15, taking the $25,000 prize with 103,747 votes.

Texarkana, AR won the contest last year. They broke ground on their dog park in Jefferson Park last month.
This is the third year PetSafe has held the contest.
